I know vert little for certain about this item...
Selling for a friend that says only that he picked it up at an auction "10 or so years ago."
* I posted photos and description of it to a very active Beatles Facebook Group and about the only thing anyone could say with confidence is what I already knew; that this photo--or copy thereof--is
not from 1965.
Instead, consensus was that it is from around the time of the release of
Magical Mystery Tour.
According to one person commenting:
"The original photo is from the Our World tv broadcast 25 June 1967. You can tell that from the badge on Paul’s lapel. No idea who the other image is, or why she has been placed over Ringo."
* Clearly,
the photo--or copy thereof--has been altered;
with a woman's head cut and pasted in over Ringo. No one on the Facebook Group pages recognized the woman.
