8 Haviland Limoges Raphael Weill San Francisco Plates 6 1/8" Pink Yellow Roses

This listing is for the 8 plates that you see in the photos. I purchased them at an estate sale where I was not told their history. The marks make me think that they were probably made circa 1888-1896. I leave it to the buyer to decide how old they are.
The diameter of each plate measures close to 6 1/8 inches. I think that they are probably dessert plates. Each plate weighs close to 4.4 ounces. All plates have a red mark that reads, “Haviland & Co. Limoges for Raphael Weill & Co. San Francisico.” Five of the plates have a green mark that reads, “H&Co L France”. Three of the plates have green marks that read, “Haviland France”. When I look at the actual marks, I wonder if those marks are blue”.
The condition is much like you see it in the photos. I do not see any wear to the gold but there might be a very slight amount that I have not seen. One plate has a chip that you can see in a close-up. The other plates are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, scratches, crazing or stains.  My photos should give you a good idea of their general condition.
I guarantee these plates to be as described and represented by the photos. The photos are part of the description. Please look at all of them.
Please know that the lighting in my photos is uneven and that there might be shadows or reflections. The colors on my monitor look close to but not exactly like the actual colors. Different monitors may show different colors. I often say that an item measures or weighs “close to” because in my opinion no measurements are exact and some things are difficult to measure.

I frequently purchase signature delivery for my more valuable packages because of the possibility of them being stolen off of a porch or damaged by weather. I often but not always ship the same or the next day. Often, I have a double wall box custom made for larger items and that might result in a short delay. When I use packing peanuts, they are usually biodegradable. Sometimes, I use used boxes.
